Emily Taylor
Emily Taylor graduated from Lincoln Park in 2014 and now attends Penn State Greater Allegheny majoring in Corporate Communications. Her ultimate career goal is to have a career in Photo Journalism. She is a starting right side hitter for the girls’ volleyball team. She is also a member of the lion ambassadors club and has a job on campus. Taylor says, “Lincoln Park helped me by giving me the photography skills and knowledge that put me a step ahead of other kids in my class. Lincoln Park also allowed me to take college level classes in high school that gave me 19 credits coming into college saving me a full semesters tuition. “
Taylor Cook
Taylor Cook graduated from Lincoln Park in 2013 and attends Florida State University majoring in film production and working towards her goal to become a filmmaker. Taylor has always been fascinated with the art of story telling since her father has a career in sports talk radio and being a columnist. Taylor has so far worked on ESPN 3 and Seminole productions so far in her time at FSU. Cook says, “I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to express just how much Lincoln Park means to me. At Lincoln Park, I was more than just a number. I was an individual. I was greeted every morning by faculty and administration, and even received hugs from the beloved CEO. I feel sad that my Lincoln Park days are over because I had the opportunity to have a say in my education, and that made all the difference.”
Kristyn Kiddy
Kristyn Kiddy graduated from Lincoln Park in 2013 and attended West Virginia University majoring in education. She was on their Division 1 dance team when she attended WVU. She then transferred into a radiology program, but still has hopes to be a dance teacher at a studio. Kiddy says, “Lincoln Park has not only taught me academically, but so much about the arts. At Lincoln Park I had half the day of dance, where I was disciplined in different styles everyday in my art. Besides the actual classes I was involved in many dance shows and musicals. I learned about how to audition and how the rehearsal/ show progress worked. I was also on Lincoln Park’s dance team as dance captain where it gave me the chance to learn how to handle a leadership role. Being a dance major at this school I also got the opportunity to choreograph some dance shows.”
Taylor Suznevich
Taylor Suznevich graduated in 2014 and now attends Slippery Rock University majoring in Psychology. Her goal is to get a job in psychology in the crime field. She volunteers in the Green and White society at SRU. Suznevich says, “Lincoln Park gave me a chance to experience something that was unlike a normal high school with a diverse range of classmates and classes. This school taught me how to prepare for my future and to decide what I wanted to do in life.
Zack Hartwell
Zack Hartwell graduated from Lincoln Park in 2013 and now attends the University of the Arts in Philadelphia majoring in animation. Hartwell says “Deciding to attend Lincoln Park was one of the greatest decisions I have made in my life. Not only is the school beautifully artistic, but the people are so welcoming and open minded. The Graphic Design program at this school taught me the fundamentals of creating beautiful art pieces and how I could incorporate them into my work.
Louis Spanos
Louis Spanos graduated from Lincoln Park in 2013 and now attends Point Park University. He is an honor student in the Sports Arts and Entertainment Management program. He is on the campus activities board as the Experience Pittsburgh coordinator, planning events located around and centering on Pittsburgh. Coming in the Summer of 2015 he will be interning for the Mayor’s Office to plan for the city’s 200th next summer. Spanos says “Lincoln Park helped me by getting me to break out of my shell via theatre and get confidence within myself, and exposed me to a wide variety of people. This helps me to be a student leader. I wouldn’t be at Point Park, or even as successful at college as I am without Lincoln Park.
Brittney Badgett
Brittney Badgett graduated from Lincoln Park in 2013 and now attends Point Park University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She is apart of the women’s basketball team at Point Park. Badgett says, “Being an alumni of Lincoln Park I have been able to bring a wide range of knowledge in areas of dance, media, and health sciences. Since Lincoln Park had offered different majors similar to Point Park it made the transition of becoming a university student easy. Many of the students here at Point Park hold strong similarities to that of Lincoln Park. It is simple to create friendships and network with individuals on the foundation that Lincoln Park built has built. Lincoln Park holds a quality standard of building your individualism, creativity, and knowledge. I have applied these standards thus far and it has brought much success.
Olivia Barnes
Olivia Barnes graduated Lincoln Park in 2013 and now attends Belmont University in the music city of Nashville, Tennessee. She is majoring in Music Business. She hopes to pursue law school and work towards her goal of being an Entertainment Lawyer. Barnes says, “I consider Lincoln Park to be one of my greatest decisions. Attending a school with such a rich, creative environment really allowed me to succeed in my studies, flourish as an individual, and build the most amazing relationships with some incredibly talented people. With my discipline being in music, I was able to explore my talents and develop life skills that have and will continue to aid me in my endeavors.
